Nice reviews from over the pond

Two really great reviews of Facts and Fabrications just recently popped up.

The first one is from the Philadelphia-based blog Phrequency.com.
"Listening to this album is like eating an ice cream sundae on your birthday, while streamers and confetti fall around you."

The second one is out of Toronto and The Panic Manual.
"They have a orchestral pop chamber indie pop kind of sound. The album is just really happy. It’s fun, it’s hand claps, it’s uplifting and it’s just something you would want to listen to."

Thank you!

If you're persuaded by these wonderful words, the album is available through the links over to the right. :)

Six weeks on P3

This is the sixth week in a row that This City Is Not For Me spends on the playlist of Swedish Radio P3. It's still on quite low rotation, but if you want to let them know that you'd like to hear it more often, drop an email to spellistan@sr.se. Make your voice heard! ;)

Johan's mixtape

I was asked I while back by to put together a list of my favourite 10 songs for the blog Warmer Climes. In case you're interested, here's my "Warmer Mixtape".

Of course, if I would put together a list today, probably at least half of the songs would be changed. That's the point of mixtapes, isn't it?

Good times at Pustervik

As you can see, the crowd was superb at Pustervik this Friday. Tack så mycket! Christer Hedberg took the picture, and many more, which you can see on his blog. As always when Christer's behind the camera the photos are fantastic.

On the air

This morning at about 7:30 am we played live on Mix Megapol (Gothenburg edition). We were interviewed and then performed This City Is Not For Me (Tram Session version). You can listen to the show archive at mixmegapol.se. A nice way to prepare for the gig at Pustervik tonight.

Coffee is a must when preparing for a show this bloody early.

The boys all set up. Notice Thomas' impressive Casio ToneBank...

Show host Tommy has a beard and a good mood.

Looking forward to 2010

2009 turned out to be a great SFB-year. Our debut album Facts and Fabrications was released, we played a couple of really nice gigs, including an awesome night at the Arvika festival, and an SFB-single (This City Is Not For Me) was finally picked up by national Swedish radio. If 2010 can top this, it will be a truly remarkable year.

What's your best SFB-moment of 2009? Did you dance to This City, sing along to Kill Your Darlings, or make out to Special Offer? Let us know!

And make sure that 2010 will be your best year yet!
